Bangkok Nightlife - we asked the experts!

In order to construct the best possible tour we could we reached out to some bangkok nightlife legends to get their opinion of some of the best places to go and some of the 'must try at least once' things to do.

Dave the Rave also known as the Go Go Guru who has his own raunchy nightlife website has been managing Go Go Bars in Bangkok for over 13 years. When it comes to Go Go Bars and Bangkok nightlife there isn't much Dave doesn't know.
We also consulted another nightlife legend StickmanBangkok who's entertaining writing and sharp photography has been captivating a huge loyal internet following for over a decade.

We asked what should be included in a Hangover 2 Tour? Dave had some suggestions:
Defiately don't forget to visit Nana Plaza Dave tells us since they have the best "adult shows" in Bangkok and recommends the Angelwitch Bar in Nana Plaza. He suggests the Bangkok Hangover tour participants should be temped to try some of the famous bugs that are available from the Bug trollies which you can see at Soi Cowboy and around Nana on Sukhumvit road.
Then there is Ya Dong an ancient Thai liquor made from rice and containing herbs like ginseng, plaonoi, tree bark and vodka or whiskey. You've have to try it once!
Dave also recommends The Cactus Bar (featured in the Hangover 2 movie) he knows Catus John well and tells us he is an excellent cook who offers great food to his cutomers. He told us that the Cactus bar is one of the few remaining small independent bars now in Soi Cowboy. The girls in the Cactus Bar wear only their birhday suits...
There are several late night nightclubs which pump it up with live bands and a massive party atmosphere.. Dave suggests the Climax on Soi 11 and Club Insomnia on sukhumvit soi 12. He also reminded us that no trip to Bangkok is complete without a trip to trip to one of the Lady Boy Bars, but Dave warns to be careful in some of the smaller bars and go with a guide.
